If your enterprise primarily uses Windows Internet Explorer 9 or Internet Explorer 10, start testing using the various document modes. Because you might have multiple versions of IE deployed, you might need to use both Enterprise Mode and document modes to effectively move to IE11. Aug 22, 2016 I can switch the client machines back online manually (File Explorer - Home Tab - Easy access - Deactivate Working offline) and it works again, but that can't be the solution. It worked normally with Windows 7 before and the problem doesn't occur on client computers in the HQ.
Click on the internet symbol (bottom right) so you see the available Wi Fi signals. Right click on yours. Select 'Properties', click on the 'connection' tab and untick 'connect automatically'. Note that I already have GPO setting 'Configure Internet Explorer integration' set to 1 which is 'Internet Explorer mode'. Still the 2nd option under 'Internet Explorer compatibility' is still in the off position and the 1st option is 'never'. It is the current stable version 85 I'm using. Web page above says version 77 and above. However when the user disconnects from the network and goes offline the button 'Work Online'/'Work offline' disappears and when the user re-connects to the network the button never comes back and the cache remains in offline mode. Any changes that the user makes to his/her files at this point remain un-synched.

It’s important that you test the sites you’re adding, or considering removing, from your Enterprise Mode site list. To make this testing easier, you can turn off the site list or the entire Enterprise Mode functionality. For example, you might have an intranet site on your list that you’ve upgraded to be compatible with the new web standards . If you test the site while the site list is active, Internet Explorer 11 will automatically switch to Enterprise Mode. By turning off the site list, you can see what the page actually looks like and decide whether to remove it from your site list.
In addition, if you no longer want your users to be able to turn Enterprise Mode on locally, you can remove Enterprise Mode from the local Tools menu.
Important
Turning off both of these features turns off Enterprise Mode for your company. Turning off Enterprise Mode also causes any websites included in your employee’s manual site lists to not appear in Enterprise Mode.
